About Broken Spur Co.

Made for Lives That Aren’t Polished

Broken Spur Co. was built around a simple belief:

A life well lived doesn’t have to look perfect.

The best stories usually come with a little dust on them.

They’re found in worn-out boots and weathered hands. In early mornings, long days, broken equipment and jobs that still need finishing. They’re told around tailgates, kitchen tables, shop floors and rodeo grounds—and usually get a little better every time they’re told.

Those are the stories that inspire us.

Broken Spur Co. creates distinctive apparel inspired by rural life, Western culture, and the people who work hard, stay humble, and keep going.

Through original artwork and storytelling, we turn the grit, humor, struggles and pride of everyday country life into something worth wearing.

Why the Broken Spur?

A broken spur might look imperfect to some.

We see it differently.

A spur doesn't get scratched, worn or broken sitting on a shelf. It happens because it was used. Because somebody saddled up. Because there were miles behind it and stories attached to it.

That's what Broken Spur represents.

We don't believe the scratches, mistakes, failures and hard years are things you need to hide. They're part of the story. They give a person character. They remind us where we've been and what it took to get here.

Perfect isn't the goal. Character is.

What We Stand For

Earn It.
Nothing worthwhile comes without putting in the work. We respect effort, perseverance, craftsmanship and the satisfaction of earning what you have.

Stay Humble.
Let the work speak for itself. No chest beating. No pretending. You don't need to prove you're tougher, richer or more country than somebody else.

Wear the Scars.
Life leaves marks. That's not always a bad thing. Scratches, failures, mistakes, weathered hands, broken equipment and difficult years are evidence that you've actually lived.

Remember Your Roots.
Where you come from matters. Small towns, farms, ranches, rodeo grounds, dirt roads, family traditions and the people who raised us deserve to be remembered.

Keep Your Word.
Do what you said you'd do. Simple as that. It's how we believe people should treat one another—and how we intend to treat our customers, artists, suppliers and everyone who works with Broken Spur.

Find the Humor.
Hard work doesn't mean life has to be miserable. There will always be stubborn cattle, broken tractors, bad weather, questionable decisions and stories worth laughing about later. We don't plan on taking ourselves too seriously.

Keep Going.
You get knocked down. You get back up.

Sometimes things break. Sometimes you break.

Fix what you can. Learn something. Keep moving.

More Than a T-Shirt

We're not interested in making clothing just to put another logo on somebody's chest.

We want to make pieces that mean something.

Artwork that reminds you of somebody you know. A saying you've heard a hundred times. A story from the rodeo grounds. A memory from the farm. A mistake you can finally laugh about.

Something that feels familiar even if you've never seen it before.

Because Broken Spur isn't about pretending life is perfect.

It's about being proud of the work, the people, the places, the laughs, the scars and the stories that made you who you are.

Work hard. Stay humble. Wear the scars. Remember your roots. And whatever happens—keep going.

That's Broken Spur Co.
